Exploring the Charm of Ourlog Coffee - A Tranquil Hideout

Ambience

Nestled in the heart of Đống Đa, Hanoi, Ourlog coffee surprises with its spacious ambiance. Despite initial expectations, the café is not overly small, comfortably accommodating groups of 2-4 people. Boasting two floors with beautifully arranged lighting, the café is a haven for photography enthusiasts.

However, the highlight is the front facade - a perfect backdrop for any outfit, making every snapshot Instagram-worthy. Ourlog is aesthetically pleasing both during the day and night, but the daytime sunlight truly brings out the best angles for Instagrammers.

Drinks

Diving into the diverse menu, Ourlog impresses with an array of coffee, tea, fresh juices, and accompanying pastries. Having visited six times since its soft opening, I’ve sampled various drinks, including watermelon and aloe vera tea, salted cream milk tea, apricot and preserved lemon tea, and cold brew. The standout is the refreshing watermelon tea with a delightful twist from the aloe vera. It’s a perfect thirst-quencher on a hot day.

The milk tea is equally delightful, with the staff brewing fragrant tea that adds a pleasant note to the experience. Additionally, their milk tea is a delightful treat, featuring a creamy egg layer that avoids excessive sweetness, setting it apart from other milk tea specialists.

Conclusion

The young and courteous staff add to the positive experience at Ourlog. While seated on the second floor might make it a bit inconvenient to call a staff member when needed, the owner has ingeniously addressed this by installing a bell for customers to signal for assistance. It’s a thoughtful touch that enhances the overall service experience.
